"True" cakes are becoming harder and harder to find. Each order is made from scratch (no boxed mixes!) with organic unbleached flour, free range eggs, organic milk and local butter from Clover Farms. Sourcing ingredients like carrots for the carrot cake as local and organic as possible for each order takes top priority.
--Why should you have to sacrifice taste just so a cake can look amazing?! At CDW, you can have the best of both worlds!! It is just as important to me that a cake tastes great on top of looking great!
*Frosting is made from scratch in small batches to insure quality.
*Fillings are also made from scratch! No store bought cans of dyed goop!
*Ganaches are made with REAL chocolate and Clover cream (not oils), Curds are made with real eggs and fruit and jellied fillings are made from as local fruit as I can find!
*Cakes Done Wright cakes have a unique dense, rich, texture and I offer and endless amounts of flavor combinations

**I offer cake tastings/styling for weddings (or large event cakes) for a charge of $40. Your fee will be waved with a minimum $400 cake order. Cake tasting will include the vanilla, red velvet, chocolate cake and lemon rosemary as well as the chocolate and vanilla buttercream, lemon BC, cream cheese flavor BC and strawberry BC. Sorry, cake tastings for specialty flavors are not available at this time since every cake is made from scratch specifically for each order and not in large batches. But I would be more than happy to save cake scraps for from other orders that might fit your needs!
**Delivery is available for $1.50 per mile (there and back) on orders. This includes table styling if you wish and adding flowers once on site. $50 minimum outside of Esparto area
